Located in the northwestern corner of Spain, Rias Baixas is the country's coolest and rainiest wine region. It is also home to the Albarino grape, and interestingly it is one of the only Spanish wine regions that allows the name of the grape to be included on the label. 'Pazo de Bruxas' translates to 'House of Witches', inspired by myths of Galician witches conjuring up spirits through magic and dance in old country houses known as “pazos”, surrounded by forests and vineyards. Flavors of sliced apple, apricot and lemon dominate the palate, supported by this region's characteristic salinity and a racy, chalky minerality. Enjoy with steamed mussels or shrimp risotto.
