When our distributor Daniel met Rosario Ferreri 15 years ago, Rosario let him know that this wine was voted the best white wine at Vinitaly the year before and based on the quality and taste of this wine, we know why. Hailing from Sicily, this 100% Catarratto was harvested from clay and limestone soils. The soils help add notes of bitter almond and salinity, while the grape itself harbors notes of freshly squeezed lime and orange juice. If you let it breathe for a moment you’ll find hints of ripe pears. This unique white wine pairs perfectly with fresh mussels or baked goat cheese.
