Forchir - Pinot Grigio

Recently revamping their winery to be state of the art, Forchir is environmentally sustainable! Located in Friuli, in northeast Italy, whites are at the forefront of production. Well-known for Pinot Grigio, Grave DOC is situated between the Dolomites and the Adriatic Sea where the vines receive sunlight and cool breezes. The soil type is a mix of sand and decomposed seashells and marine life, giving Pinot Grigio its high acidity and light fruit flavors. Forchir's style has more body and tropical fruit due to strong sunlight, warmth and well-draining soils. We love its refreshing acidity and a hint of minerality. This Pinot Grigio is a true porch-pounder, especially as the weather starts to get warmer!
