This small, cooperative winery was founded in 1958 and today is made up of 500 winegrowers who cultivate about 1,000 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards themselves are rich in limestone soils and almost exclusively native wines are grown. This delightful native grape grows along the east coast of Abruzzo, Italy. Though typically used for blending, it is now more common to see it as a single varietal production. Each grape is harvested early to help preserve the natural brightness of this wine. Expect to find notes of lime and starfruit and a hint of something surprising in the mid palate! Pair it with a goat cheese and caramelized onion tart.
