Part of Gabrielskloof’s Landscape Series, which showcases what they feel are their best vineyard sites and winemaking techniques, ‘Magdalena’ is a white Bordeaux style blend made up of 85% Semillon and 15% Sauvignon Blanc for freshness and complexity. This beautifully textured wine shows notes of ripe citrus, freshly sliced pears, honeycomb and dried basil and is a perfect cool-weather white. This wine's richness allows it to keep up well with cream sauces or more heavily spiced dishes such as chicken satay.
