A team of expert viticulturists and environmentalists are part of the fabric of Bodega Garzon, run by husband and wife duo Alejandro and Bettina Bulgheroni, ensuring that each vintage of wine that comes out of the estate is the best expression the land has to offer. Bodega Garzon is the first sustainable, LEED certified (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) winery in Uruguay and cultivates an impressive 240 hectares of vineyards. This medium-to-full bodied wine is hand-harvested and fermented in concrete tanks for one week, followed by aging on lees for 6-12 months in a mix of concrete tanks and French oak barrels. Notes of soft blackberries and blueberries are met with a touch of cinnamon and clove on the finish. Pair with tagine dishes, gyros, and charcuterie.
