The Glaetzer family originally immigrated to the Barossa Valley in the late 1800s from Brandenburg, Germany, and were some of the earliest recorded viticulturists in both Barossa and the Clare Valley. More than a century later, Glaetzer Wines was founded and today, Ben Glaetzer is at the helm. His philosophy? Good wine is made in the vineyard. The fruit for this opulent Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon fusion comes from old vines (30-100 year old Shiraz and 30-130 year old Cabernet), providing concentrated, complex and powerful flavors of fresh black cherry, blueberry, anise and dried herbs. This one is delicious to enjoy now, but will age beautifully for decades to come.
