Walter Glatzer opened his winery in 1987 in the famous Austrian wine-growing region of Carnuntum, a storied land with winemaking traditions dating back to Roman times. This Zweigelt is harvested from old vines on their best vineyard sites and, after a three week maceration, spends 14 months in barrel. With notes of concentrated dark fruit, licorice, and tobacco leaf, this wine makes a great partner to burgers fresh off the grill.
