Gouguenheim is one of the wineries we visited on our Chile/Argentina wine tour! The winemaker and owner, Patricio Gouguenheim produces small production wines in the high altitude vineyards of Tupungato in the Uco Valley. Malbec's deep color, rich aromas of plums, black cherry, spice, and silky tannin make it an extremely popular wine. With just a hint (4 months) of American oak aging, a nice touch of sweet spice and toast flavors is added for more complexity.
