Gundlach Bundschu's estate vineyards, called Rhinefarm, are located at the southern tip of the Sonoma Valley, where the cool air that blows through the Petaluma Gap allows for the growing of early ripening, high acid varietals. Despite the smoke and drought conditions, this 2020 Gewurztraminer shows opulent tropical fruit flavors, and intense aromatics of lychee, rose, and lime zest. It is fermented to leave zero residual sugar, yielding a bone dry, crisp white that is an ideal pairing for anything spicy!
