Vermilion comes to us from the husband-and-wife team of Helen Keplinger and DJ Warner. They work with vineyard managers and farmers in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and the Sierra Foothills and stay involved at every step, from growth to bottling. Vermilion is Helen’s blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Counoise, and Cabernet Sauvignon, and boasts flavors of baking spice, bright blackberry, with an immense warmth. Pair with game such as venison and goat, or braised lamb with potatoes.
