Krasno - Ribolla Gialla - Sparkling

What an impressive sparkling white! We love finding distinctly different, yet utterly refreshing sparkling wines from all over the world. Located in Goriska Brda, a region in Slovenia, Krasno produces this light sparkler with bright citrus, green apple and stone fruit alongside floral notes and a stony minerality.

The wine is produced from a local variety - Ribolla Gialla in Italy, known as Rebula in Slovenia - left on the lees for 3 months after a secondary fermentation in a stainless steel tank. This sparkler is perfect as an aperitif and a great match for hors d'oeuvres and light salads.
