90% Vermentino 10% Viogner
Tuscany, Italy
La Fratta’s history dates back 100 years when it existed as a working farm and just a few rows of vines. When Renzo Danesi bought the farm in 1970 he replanted the vines and repurposed the old farmhouse for winery production. Today, the property has been taken over by his daughter, Valentina who has maintained his wine legacy and the small plot of 2,500 vines. Made from a blend of 90% Vermentino and 10% Viognier, the label depicts a sketch of the nymph of the thermal waters, a symbol of Bagni di Lucca. This high acid white has tasting notes of green apple and yellow pear, making it the perfect pairing for seafood dishes and the warm weather ahead.
