Viticulture comes second nature to cousins Fabio and Roberto Leali who took over the production of their family winery, La Meridiana, and have continued the tradition of creating classic Garda wines under the mentorship of their fathers. Settled in the Lake Garda region of Italy, this certified organic operation is not only known for producing exceptional wine, but olive oil as well. This bold and full bodied red has tasting notes of berries, plums, black pepper, and tobacco paired with a soft tannic structure. This wine can be served chilled or at room temperature and pairs well with tomato-based pasta dishes, BBQ, and pizza.
