Established in 1922, this cooperative winery lies between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps creating an ideal climate for their 600 hectares of vineyards to thrive. They focus on growing traditional southern varietals including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan, and Rolle that thrive in the sun-drenched Mediterranean climate. This rose is made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Carignan and Merlot creating tasting notes of ripe cherries, raspberries, strawberries and watermelon complemented by a balanced and refreshing acidity. 'La Plage' translates to 'The Beach' in French so this food-friendly rose is truly meant to celebrate the end of summer with friends. Pair with proscuitto-wrapped melon, a summer salad with goat cheese or grilled scallops.
