Nestled in the small Bardolino apellation between Lake Garda and Valpolicella, this female-owned and certified organic winery has been the heart and soul of Matilda Poggi since she took over from her father and became owner and winemaker in 1984. Matilda chooses to only grow native varietals and one of her favorites to work with is Garganega. With average vine age of 29 years, the unique Mediterranean climate of this region helps create elegant wines and this is no exception. Ripe fruity notes of white peach and apricot are balanced with bright acidity. Pair with seafood dishes or aged cheeses.
