Burgundy is known for being one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions, producing wine primarily made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and this wine is absolutely no exception. Its name comes from walls (known as “mergers”) which were used to distinguish a property line along the edges of plots in Burgundy. This Chardonnay is medium-bodied with notes of baked apple and citrus, and would pair well with a béarnaise sauce or a creamy mushroom dish.
