Le Morette vineyards, founded by Gino Zenato over 60 years ago, originally started as a farm for vineshoot production until Gino decided to start wine making as well. He named the winery for the Morette, a diving duck that can be seen all over the property and is also depicted on the label. It is a symbol of not only the duck's elegance, but Zentao's deep respect for nature and the bond to the land. Made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara varietals this wine is dry and savory with plenty of crunchy red fruit including red berries and cranberries complemented by spice. Pair with manhy dishes including pizza, white meats or a local dish such as pasta e fagioli.
