Founded in 1933 amid a global economic crisis, Cantina Valpolicella Negrar emerged when seven local entrepreneurs in Verona joined forces to enhance wine production and protect their land from external investors. Despite historic lows in grape prices, their cooperative effort has endured for over 90 years. Today, 240 winegrowing members collaborate to produce high-quality wines while safeguarding the territory. This medium-bodied red is a blend of 60% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, and 20% Rondinella, all native Italian varietals. With tasting notes of red and brambly fruits and a hint of spice, it pairs beautifully with charcuterie boards or pasta dishes.
