2022 White Blend

Dragon is a symbol of courage for Vajra, who experimented in Langhe, Italy with local and international white varietals to create this fresh, perfumed white wine. It is a very unusual blend for the Barolo area: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Nascetta. Each grape is picked at optimal ripening and gently pressed as whole clusters. It is then fermented for up to 12 days in vertical vats. Before bottling, the wine spends six months in stainless steel for aging. Dry aromas of stone, flowers and summery grass greet the nose and a slightly savory taste rounds out the palate. Pair this one with shrimp scampi with linguini or with an array of hard cheeses.
