Paraje Altamira, Mendoza, Argentina
Manos Negras is located in Mendoza, Argentina, its name inspired from the idea that real winemakers' hands are stained black from working in the soil. The winery itself was born from four friendships and they credit much of their success to viticulturalist Alejandro Sejanovich, who worked as the director of viticultural research and development at Bodega Catena Zapata for 16 years before joining Manos Negras in 2010. This wine is made from 100% Malbec grown in the unique stone soils of the Uco Valley, which has a patchwork of sand, silt and stone. With this wine you will experience rich, savory aromas paired with notes of blackberry and cocoa. Pair with flavorful cuts of meat like grilled tenderloin or a gouda mac and cheese.
