Asti, Italy

The Incisa family have lived in the Piedmont region of Italy for more than 1,000 years and have been involved in the wine industry for hundreds of those. In fact, Marchese Leopoldo Incisa della Rocchetta is known to have been the first to experiment with the Pinot Noir varietal in the Piedmont region. Today, the winery is still family owned and they are determined to carry on their legacy, while also supporting their local community. In 2020, they launched 'A Bottle For The Arts' which had a special label and the winery donated 33% of its sales to the London Theatre, benefiting the reopening of the Royal Opera House after the COVID-19 pandemic. This savory red is made from 100% Grignolino, one of the oldest indigeous varietals of the region. Tasting notes of strawberry, rose petal and white pepper make this a great pairing for a spicy seafood pasta dish.
