Marino Abate is a certified organic winery in Marsala, Italy, just outside of Sicily. Wanting to reaffirm their connection with the area, they named it 'Ariddu.' Ariddu is the Sicilian name for the Grillo grape, which also means “cricket” in Italian. This medium-bodied white is made from 100% Grillo, and is both crisp and savory, making it a fun alternative choice to Pinot Grigio. With notes of citrus blossom and tropical fruit complimented by a touch of herbal notes, this wine can be paired with goat cheese or a risotto dish.
