Marques de Casa Concha started producing in 1976 and quickly became one of Chile’s most iconic line of premium wines. Today, they own vineyards all over Chile, but the influence of the Andes Mountains and the unique composition of the soils produce the high quality wines they are known for. Marcelo Papo has been the winemaker at Marques de Casa Concha for the last 20 years. He is one of the most influential winemakers in Chile and is known as ‘Seeker of Noble Roots’ for his ability to find the best places to grow varietals across Chile. Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon come together to create this red Bordeaux Blend with tasting notes of wild dark fruit complemented by violets and a touch of spice. Pair this wine with traditional Chilean dishes like Empanada de Pino or mature cheeses.
