40% Grenache, 40 Carignan, 20 Cinsault
Pays d'Herault, France
During the height of vine-pulling in the Languedoc, which was meant to lessen France's large wine supply in the early '90s, Moulin de Gassac was born. Aimé Guibert wanted to show the French government, and the world what southern France was capable of producing. The unique terroir allows vines to bathe in warmth and sun, moderated by Mediterranean Sea effects and cool clay-limestone soils. This rose is a blend of Grenache, Carignan and Cinsault creating a beautiful bodied wine with the perfect balance of florality and minerality. The winemaker suggests enjoying it within 2 years and enjoying it with grilled meats and vegetables.
