Since its inception in 1998, founders Valenti and Ramon Llagostera have made a commitment to the quality of wines they produce at Mas Doix without compromising the land. Rooted in organic and biodynamic practices, they are sure to take great care and respect of the vines that were planted here in 1902. Low intervention and low-yield vines paired with slate and limestone soils help create fresh, mineral driven wines. Made from a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Carignan and 10% Syrah on vines ranging from 70-100 years old, this full-bodied red has a well balanced acidity and tannic structure and includes savory tasting notes of raspberry, plum and licorice with a long, spicy finish. Pair with grilled vegetables or roasted red meats.
