Carlo and Rosa Marchesi immigrated to the United States from Italy and instilled all of their wine knowledge into their grandson, Rudy. Rudy was instantly passionate about winemaking and worked all over the east coast making and selling wine. He was always captivated by Oregon and soon found himself a position as a vineyard consultant at Montinore Estate in Willamette Valley. In 2005 he was made proprietor of the estate after years of hard work and dedication to winemaking. Montinore is one of the largest biodynamic wine producers and dedicates themselves to live and work sustainably each day. Notes of stone fruit, pear, and white peach come together beautifully, making this a perfect pair for salmon nigiri, a spicy Indian curry, veggie kebabs or grilled halibut.
