Founded in the 1970s after Aimé and Véronique Guibert de la Vaissière purchased an old farmhouse in the Gassac Valley. With the assistance of their close friend and geologist Henri Enjalbert, they soon planted Cabernet Sauvignon vines and built an underground cellar near the farmhouse and their first vintage was bottled in 1980. Today, four of their five sons have taken over the family business and are dedicated to following their late father's footsteps and upholding the respect of mother nature and the pure expression of the terroir. This fresh, crisp white is made from 100% Piquepoul and produces a true expression of the terroir in this region and the benefits of the clay-limestone soils. With tasting notes of yellow flowers, citrus fruit, and a touch of salinity, this wine is best paired with shellfish or a summer salad.
