In addition to producing tasty wine, Bodegas Muga is also pursuing creative expansions into a range of ventures from Michelin star dining to carbon sequestration and habitat restoration through the creation of forests. This fresh rose is a blend of Grenache and Viura (also known as Macabeo). When fermentation is complete, it remains on fine lees for 16 weeks to enhance the softness and rich texture. The grapes are sourced from the Oja and Najerilla valleys in Rioja Alta, the northwestern portion of the region. Enjoy aromas of strawberry, peach, and white flowers and a finish of stone fruit and citrus. With its soft pink color, and complex nose, this rose begs for Spanish rice dishes or seafood tapas enjoyed on a terrace.
