Galicians have more than 40 words to describe rain and fog. 'Neboa' is one of those words and it very accurately describes the weather that it exists in Rias Baixas. This region is famously known for its growth of Albarino and, of course, its rain. The cooperative winegrowers at Bodegas Eidosela have made adjustments to their vineyards to combat the rain. Vines are trimmed in pergolas at approximately 2 meters high to avoid the humidity caused by the high rainfall and also allowing as much sunlight as possible. This wine is made from grapes grown on 75 year-old vines creating a crisp body and distinct minerality. White flowers, peach and apricot complemented by a bright, grippy finish makes this wine the perfect pairing for seafood paella, mature cheeses or even risotto with zucchini.
