100% Nerello Mascalese
These grapes are grown on lava terraces at 720 meters above sea level. Mt. Etna’s volcanic soils give the grapes grown there a unique flavor profile. Nerello Mascalese is a black grape that ripens later in the season. This wine is ruby red in the glass, and leads with notes of cherries and strawberries, it finishes with a touch of charcoal and more red fruit. Perfect with eggplant parmesan.
