The Guyot family has been in the wine industry for 400 years, making them one of oldest families in the Marsennay region. Olivier Guyot has been managing the estate since 1990. and has since been joined by his wife and two sons who help him manage the 15 hectares of vineyards. This white wine is made from Aligoté, which is known as Burgundy's "other" white grape, and is becoming more popular every year after having disappeared during Phylloxera. This fresh, light bodied white is bursting with notes of citrus complemented by a balanced acidity and minerality. It is best enjoyed young (1-4 years) and can be paired with many dishes including grilled fish, oysters or tabbouleh.
