The history of Cantine Patria began when the Di Miceli family bought the property over 70 years ago. The vines are just 700 meters above sea level while the property itself lies between two volcanoes in Europe. The volcanic soils on the property help create mineral driven wines that are distinct. Named as an ode to femininity, this wine is said to embody elegance and delicacy. This 2023 blend of 80% Carricante and 20% Catarratto captures the volcanic soul of Mount Etna and imbues bright citrus, wild herbs, and a hint of sea breeze. Lively acidity and a stony minerality create a crisp, elegant finish. It’s a beautiful match for grilled eggplant with fresh ricotta, arrancini, or a simple fennel citrus salad.
