Upon hearing “Willamette Valley,” people typically think of Pinot Noir or Pinot Gris, but this Sauvignon Blanc might make you question that assumption. Patty Green and partner Jim Anderson left a prominent winery in search of something that better aligned with their values. They purchased a site and have successfully transformed it to reflect what they care about most: sustainability, honored heritage, and a supportive workplace. Despite Patty's passing in 2017, her legacy endures in every bottle. The grapes, harvested from 20 to 30-year-old vines, offer rich tropical fruit flavors balanced with vibrant acidity, perfect for a spring day's refreshment. This wine pairs exquisitely with raw oysters or a salad featuring goat cheese and fresh fruit.
