Rooted in the historic food and wine region of Emilia-Romagna, Poderi dal Nespoli is co-owned by the Martini and Ravaioli families and they have been making wine since 1929. The family takes their winemaking and their commitment to the land very seriously. They control the entire wine production chain from farming to bottling and they follow sustainable practices throughout the entire property. They grown many different varietals in their vineyards and this wine in particular is made from 100% Famoso. Famoso is an indigenous varietal that rediscovered in the last decade and is very aromatic with a balanced acidity. It has floral tasting notes including jasmine flowers and tropical and white fruits. Pair with an herb risotto, grilled fish or a cheese plate.
