Sangiovese is an amazing grape that grows all over the country and is synonymous with Italian wine. This particular wine is classic Sangiovese with notes of Chocolate, Tobacco, Roasted Fig, and Leather. "Fico Grande" gets its name form the enormous fig tree that sits at the top of the hill where this vineyard is located. It is perfect for almost any food pairing situation but goes especially with Pasta and Gravy (Red Sauce).
