Rooted in the oldest active wine cooperative in Puglia, Produttori di Manduria has been cultivating and producing some of the region’s most elegant wines for many years. They believe in the strong links between the wine and the land it’s grown on, the winemakers have committed to sustainability throughout their production of some of the region's most celebrated wines. 'Alice' is made from Verdeca grown on 15-20 year old vines. Verdeca is a rare white varietal that comes from the southern and south eastern parts of Italy and was predominately used to make vermouth up until the 20th century. This wine is fresh and savory with a citrus aftertaste and can be paired with many seafood dishes including baked seabass with lemon potatoes or sea bream carpaccio.
