Raptor Ridge - Tempranillo 2015

Raptor Ridge is a killer producer located in Willamette Valley. The fruit for this tempranillo comes from further south in the Rouge Valley. Known for a warmer climate, the Rouge Valley has the ability to ripen things like Tempranillo and Syrah, and is becoming quite a popular place for winegrowing in Oregon. While it may not steal the spotlight from Willamette Valley, it is certainly turning heads and for good reason. This wine is bold, dry, and silky with a prominent tobacco and blackberry finish.
