One of the most historic wineries in La Morra, Rocche di Costamagna’s wine making started nearly two centuries ago in 1841 when they were granted a permit for retail trade in wine produced from the grapes of their vineyards. While Barolo is this winery’s first love and gained them much attention, they have gone on to create very successful wines including Barbera, Dolcetto and even Arneis varietals. This red is made from 100% Barbera and you can expect a balanced freshness and acidity dominated by cherry notes and spice. This wine would be an excellent choice as a table red and pairs well with risotto and pasta dishes. Enjoy now or cellar for up to 5 years.
