Hand-harvested and made in the methode ancestrale, this Cerdon de Bugey is as close to a strawberry parfait in a glass as you can get! Filled with flavors of strawberries, cherries, cream, and a hint of spice it's easy to see why. The wine carries about 40 grams/liter of residual sugar lending some sweetness to balance the delicate tannins and strong acids from the Gamay. Perceptible sweetness without being overly sweet. Use this wine at the start of your meal as an aperitif or pair it with a nice fruit or chocolate-based dessert.
