The name Sandhi is the Sanskrit word for collaboration, which captures the winemakers’ philosophy of working with each other, the elements, the terroir, their vineyard workers, and cellar team. Bringing with them expertise from such renowned producers as Au Bon Climat and Ojai, Raj and Sashi find joy in crafting oak barrel-aged Chardonnays and delicate, aromatic Pinot Noirs that best reflect the Santa Rita Hills. The nose of this Central Coast Chardonnay is rich with yellow peach, panna cotta, bread dough, and baking spice. Silky with stone fruit and honey on the palate, the acidity will linger and is balanced with slight smokey matchstick. Pair with a hearty pot pie or a lemon-garlic seafood pasta.
