Family-run for five generations, Vignoble Simian is renowned for their organic and biodynamic viticulture and cultivation practices, becoming Certified Organic in 2011. With roots dating back to the 19th century, this estate grows primarily Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Vermentino grapes in their vineyards. ‘Mon P’tit Camion Rouge’ translates to “My Little Red Truck” and is a blend of Grenache, Merlot, Syrah, Caladoc, and Alicante. This blend is destemmed, crushed, and fermented for 4-6 days in concrete vats, then aged in concrete for several months. Notes of black fruit, white pepper, and a touch of spice is present throughout. Pair with roasted root vegetables and grilled hamburgers.
