Skinner Winery has deep roots dating back to 1860 when James Skinner moved his family to California during the Gold Rush. Skinner did so well that he was able to purchase land that he named Skinner Ranch and it would soon become one of the first commercial vineyards in California. By 1883, J. Skinner Native Wine & Brandy Co. had become one of the largest commercial vineyards in California and operated into the early 20th century. In 2007 Skinner Vineyards was revived and they have been thriving ever since. This red blend is just that, made up of 11 varietals, showcasing what this unique bit of terroir is capable of! Tasting notes include tart cherry, dried herbs and orange peel and it is best served with a slight chill. Pair it with a wind down on the porch!
