Since 1999, Domaine Vincent Careme, named for the proprietor and winemaker, has produced high quality organic and vegan Chenin Blanc wines in Vouvray, but this one hails from his property in the Swartland appellation of South Africa, just outside of Cape Town. The Mediterranean climate and abundance of sunshine bring a refreshing brightness to the wine while helping to develop more of the tropical fruit flavors of ripe peach, guava and a hint of orange blossom.
