The owners of te Pā can trace their family lineage of the land back 800 years. In 2003 they began the process of converting their dairy and crop farm into vineyards and in 2011 they bottled their first vintage. This fuller bodied white is made from 100% Pinot Gris and is aged in both stainless steel and french oak before being bottled. Tasting notes of white flower, poached pear, green apple, and a touch of spice creates a well-balanced, refreshing wine that pairs well with spicy dishes or earthy mushrooms.
