Tenuta Cappellina is small, privately owned artisian winery located in Tuscany. After acquiring the winery in 2021 they worked hard to irradicate the use of pesticides and chemincal fertilizers. They believe they need to leave the land better than they found it, which is also why 80% of the property is a natural wooded landscape where wild boards, porcupines and even wolves roam. 'Casa del Capo' has been dubbed the "everyday Super Tuscan" by the winery. Made from 100% Sangiovese and aged for 12 months creates a wine with silky tannins, fresh acidity and dark, crunchy, red-cherry fruit. Pair this red with beef or venison.
