Tenuta Le Calcinaie was founded near the famous Tuscan town of San Giminano in 1987 by Simone Santini. Beginning with only 6 hectares, he has since doubled his vineyards and made name for himself as one of the region's most reputable newcomers. With perfect sun exposure and careful, organic farming practices, Le Calcinaie's quality is always outstanding. The 2021 Vernaccia is aromatic and fresh, with notes of dried apple, citrus blossom, almond skins and a touch of dried fennel, as well as a pleasant texture and clean finish. Partner this bottle with seafood risotto, chicken cacciatore or pasta with spinach and artichokes.
