Tenuta San Guido - Guidalberto

Located near the village of Bolgheri, Tenuta San Guido's picturesque 7,500-acre estate is celebrated for producing incredible Italian red wines year after year. The wines from here are responsible for the modern day success of Bolgheri and arguably Tuscany as a whole. Guidalberto 2018 is a very pure wine. It is not a super rich and dense Super Tuscan. The wine is rather refined and shows off the coastal terroir of Bolgheri. It is a passport to Italy. Guidalberto is the second wine to the famed Sassicaia. These are the vines that just barely missed the cut. It’s a great way to see this winery and what they are capable of and not spend over $300/ bottle as you would with the Sassicaia.
