Located in the Jewish quarter of Labastida, this winery is comprised of 4 houses that are interconnected beneath, by a network of four different caves that date back to the 1500's and make an excellent space for aging their wines. The vineyard is made up of 24 hectares and the vines are up to 100 years old in some places. This 100% Tempranillo is grown in sandy calcerous soils with small pebbles and is hand harvested. Intended to be a young and fresh expression of Tempranillo, this bottle is best enjoyed as soon as possible. In your glass expect to find notes of wild berries, violets and a touch of menthol. On the palate, there are well integrated flavors of raspberries and blueberries and a touch of smoke on the finish. Pair with braised short ribs.
