Practicing certified organic since 2014, Terreno has worked to become completely self-sufficient from producing power through solar panels to irrigating their vineyards with water from their lake. Run by the Ruhne family since 1988, the production of high-quality Chianti Classico has remained a priority through the years. ‘Le Tre Vigne’, the anchor of their collection, is comprised of grapes grown in three different vineyards, all hand harvested then micro-fermented with natural yeasts in large oak casks. Notes of cherries and wild berries are present through and are met with fresh and grippy tannins. Pair with slow cooked beef ragu or grilled steak.
